💛Are you afraid to express your fear or vulnerability?

💛Yoga has taught me not to bypass the raw emotions in my life but instead tackle them with grace and intuition. 

💛For so long I felt embarrassed to let others see my vulnerability. It felt like a failure or a display of weakness. But now I know that recognising my own vulnerability and sharing it with others has helped me become more accepting and honest. We are not designed to be strong all the time - we change and shift, just like the seasons. We need the colder harder times to help us fully appreciate the joy of spring. 

💛Protecting ourselves from vulnerability is of course an innate human response. But if we choose to continually mask our emotions and vulnerability with fake strength, competence, energy and ego, then we gradually build a wall around ourselves making it increasingly difficult to truly and courageously find happiness in our lives.

💛Cultivating a regular yoga practice can help us find the inner strength to navigate times of emotional and physical turmoil. Vulnerability does not make us a victim. It shows strength of character and an open heart.
