Take a moment today to observe your feet and make a connection with the ground that supports you.
Our feet aren't just our foundations for standing poses - they are so much more. They must offer stability while being flexible and adjustable - qualities that we need beyond the mat to help us cope with the ups and downs.
Try standing in Mountain Pose for 5 minutes (you might like to watch the first video in Series 1 of Pose by Pose for guidance) and take your awareness to your feet. Let them settle into the ground, spread the toes, lift the arches and draw energy upwards. Breathe deeply and enjoy the strength and stability you have created in your mind and body.
